A Day in the Life of a Realtor: The Haunted Dollhouse Edition
Yesterday was one for the books.
House #1 seemed normal enough—until we walked into the living room and came face to face with a life-sized cardboard cutout of Nicolas Cage. My client jumped. I maintained my composure, but internally questioned everything. The seller casually said it was “for ambiance.” Naturally.
House #2 brought us a “custom” bathroom experience. The toilet was positioned directly across from a full-length mirror. My client took one look and said, “I don’t need that kind of honesty before coffee.” I couldn’t argue.
House #3 was beautiful—open layout, stunning kitchen, great light. Then we opened a closet and discovered what can only be described as a shrine of vintage porcelain dolls. Hundreds of them. Shelves upon shelves, all staring back at us like we had disturbed some ancient, tiny council.
After a long pause, my client turned to me and said, “Same time Friday?”
